Everything you need to get the most out of Plectro.
Getting started
- Open Plectro and tap through the short intro, then allow microphone access.
- Tap the large Practice button on the Home screen.
- Start playing. Single notes show the tuner; strummed chords show the chord name.
- Tap End session — it's saved under Stats and Sessions.
The tuner isn't detecting anything
- Make sure you granted microphone access (Settings → Plectro → Microphone).
- Play closer to the device and let notes ring clearly.
- Set your reference pitch and skill level in the app's Settings.
My audio — is it private?
Yes. All analysis happens on your iPhone. Your audio is never recorded, stored, or
uploaded. Plectro keeps only numbers (minutes, notes, scores) on your device.
